We served 41 low-income and minority K-6th grade students with daily after school programming in 2016-17 and we want to keep it up in the 2017-18 school year! Your financial support will go directly to these children, who will receive an academically focused and safe after-school home away from home with trained tutors and also recreation opportunities for after the homework is done!
Youth who have participated in our after school program are reading better, finishing their homework, getting help in subjects where they need support and keep active by playing outside on our playground, shooting hoops in our gym, participating in games and several have taken advantage of our weekly low-cost martial arts class.
WACC is a historic multi-service nonprofit that serves youth, families, seniors, individuals and non-English speaking people.
